As one unit of the 13th Five-Year Plan for scientific information construction of CAS, Scientific Data Center‘s mission is to collect, store, manage and share multi-omics big data. The center houses a IBM High performance Server which provides strong support for the research of IGDB as well as other scientific research institutions. At present, multi-omics data from crops, animals and human reached 72TB with 52TB shared data. In addition to data management, Scientific Data Center offers a variety of training courses and lectures on frontier technology, performs standard and customized bioinformatics analysis of high-throughput sequencing data for IGDB researchers.
