Overview
State Key Laboratory of Molecular Developmental Biology
The State Key Laboratory of Molecular Developmental Biology is established in 2011, hosted by the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology (IGDB), Chinese Academy of Sciences. The key laboratory mainly focus on exploring the basic laws of ontogenesis, cell differentiation, tissue and organofaction, and aims to build a developmental biology research organization with international influence.
The key laboratory now has 25 PIs, including 1 foreign academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 1 Innovative Research Group of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), 8 awardees of the NSFC Outstanding Youth fund. The laboratory has world-class proteomics, metabolic analysis, imaging research platform and experimental animal facilities. It has well-maintained and shared state-of-the-art research infrastructure and facilities, providing an excellent academic atmosphere for collaboration.
