JGG Has a New JCR Impact Factor of 1.494

The 2010 JCR impact factor (IF) of 1.494 for Journal of Genetics and Genomics (JGG) has been released by Thomson Reuters, with an increase of 83.8% compared with that of the last year (2009 IF 0.813).

JGG is one of the China’s leading journals in the life sciences, sponsored by the Genetics Society of China and the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2006, it began to publish papers in English; in 2007, the journal title was changed to the current name; in 2008, it was indexed by SCI-E. During the past years, JGG has made a rapid progress and attracted a broad audience.
