The NAIST Global COE International Student Workshop organized by Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST) was held in Japan from 10 to 16 November，2008. The graduate students from IGDB, NAIST and University of California Davis (USA) attended the workshop and presented their research findings. Thereafter they attended the Global COE International Symposium held in NAIST.  

The goal of this work shop is to promote the international academic exchange as well as to contribute to a better understanding between students from different countries.
