Human Lipodystrophy Gene Seipin Orchestrates Lipid Homeostasis through Ca2+-dependent Mitochondrial Metabolism
Prof. HUANG Xun's group at the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, collaborated with SHUI Guanghou’s group, WANG Guodong ’s group and DING Mei’s group at the same institute, revealed that Seipin can regulate adipose tissue lipid storage via calcium (Ca2+)-dependent mitochondrial metabolism.
