Asian Wild Rice is Not So Wild
The researchers from CHU Chengcai’s group at Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences together with scientists from University of Copenhagen, Denmark and University of Berkeley, USA found that Asian wild rice is a hybrid swarm with extensive gene flow and feralization from domesticated rice.
