A delegation from Fonds de la recherche en sante Quebec in Canada, headed by Dr. Catalina Lopez-Correa, Vice-President of Genome Quebec, visited IGDB on Oct. 15, 2009. The delegates including scientists from Universite de Montreal, Universite de Sherbrooke, McGill University and University of Laval, discussed potential areas for cooperation between IGDB and Canada. Dr. Weicai Yang and Dr. Yongqing Zhang hosted their visit. Dr. Wei Li, Dr. Zhiheng Xu, Dr. Jiajia Liu, Dr. Shilai Bao from the Center of Developmental Biology, Dr. Jingdong Han and Xiujie Wang of the Center of Molecular Systems Biology participated in the discussion.
