A delegation of University of Adelaide of Austialia, headed by Prof. Mike Brooks, the Vice-President (Research), visited IGDB in the morning of June 9. Dr. Yongqing Zhang, the Deputy Director, hosted their visit. Dr. Shizhuan Zhang, Head of Division of American and Oceanian Affairs of the Bureau of International Cooperation, CAS, and several PIs from IGDB attended the meeting. Both parties hope to keep in touch and to initiate long-term collaboration between both sides in the near future.

The University of Adelaide is one of the leading research universities in Australia and has very strong programs in agriculture, health sciences and engineering.
