A delegation of Bayer CropScience (China) Company Ltd., headed by Frank Schmidt, the Head of Research, visited IGDB in the afternoon of 30th March.

Dr. Yongbiao Xue, the Director of IGDB, introduced the R&D situations of the institute to the delegation. And Mr. Frank Schmidt introduced the research area and business of Bayer CropScience to IGDB briefly. Then the scientists from both parties discussed the development of crop traits as well as related technology and the potential opportunity for future collaboration. 

The delegation also visited several labs for crop research after the discussion.
