Professor Robert Saint, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Strategy) of the University of Adelaide, Aurstralia, visited IGDB on November 20. Drs. YANG Weicai, ZHANG Yongqing and XU Weihua, Deputy Directors of the institute, as well as Dr. XU Zhiheng from the Center of Developmental Biology, took part in the meeting. 

 

 

Dr. YANG Weicai briefly introduced the visitors the organization and recently research progress of IGDB. Then, the possible collaborations, especially the biomedicine, wheat genetics, systems biology, technology transformation, and joint PhD program, were discussed between the University of Adelaide and IGDB. Both parties hoped to establish the further collaboration partnership on academic exchanges, based on the signed MOU.
